Prayer For Understanding in Relationships

God our Creator

I need Your help in my relationship.  Father you know my heart and that of my partner.  Help us to find new and exciting ways to grow in understanding, patience, love and acceptance of each other.  I know that we both desire a wonderful life and to be treated well, but we don't always do it towards each other.  I pray that You open our hearts to be more understanding and compassionate , our ears to truly listen, and our eyes to see the precious treasure we have in each other. Show each of us when we are being selfish, give us the courage to realize it, change it, and apologize, then lead us into to making each other first in our lives after You.  Amen.
